The AAPI Solidarity Event is a fandom fundraising raffle, run primarily by members of the Mo Dao Zu Shi / The Untamed (CQL) fandom.

What You Do:
> Donate to a charity or mutual aid fund that benefits the AAPI community! (See our list above)

What You (might) Get:
> We will be raffling off pieces of custom fanfiction written by our talented creators!

The Goals:

> Encourage donations to AAPI charities and mutual aid groups

> Raise money to support the AAPI community, which has faced increased violence in the last year and a half.

> Use the power of Fandom to do good in the world!

The AAPI Solidarity Event is modeled on past successful fandom fundraising events like #WhatInDonationSeason3 and individual fundraising events held on Twitter.

> Donate to one of our suggested AAPI charities or mutual aid funds during the raffle period (May 26th-June 9th, 2021).

> Go to This Google Form and answer a few quick questions to help us stay organized. The form will also ask for a screenshot of proof (with your personally identifying information erased/blacked out if you'd like!)

> If you have issues with the form, you can email [email protected] with your proof. (Make sure the donation date, organization you donated to, and amount of the donation are clearly visible!)

> Every $10 donated = one (1) raffle ticket (with no rounding up). For example: a $50 donation will net 5 tickets; a $25 donation will net 2 tickets.

> Tickets will be recorded by the event runners, and at the end of the raffle, winners will be chosen at random, based on ticket number!

TIMELINE

> The raffle will run from May 26th to June 9th, 2021
> Winners will be notified by June 10th, 2021 via email. A link to a prompt form will be included, where winners can detail their likes, dislikes, and requests.
> Winners will have until June 16th to complete their prompt form.
>Creators will post the prompted fic during the months of July, August, and September, with no fic posted later than September 30th, 2021.

What to Expect
> All raffle winners will be asked to fill out a prompt form, which will allow winners to detail likes and ‘Do Not Wants’, as well as requested pairings and story prompts. The prompt form must include at least one MDZS/CQL prompt.
> Our team will match prompts to creators based on mutual interests; requests for specific creators (i.e. ‘I want so-and-so to write my fic!) will not be honored.
> All prompted fanfiction will be posted to a dedicated collection on AO3.
> Winners will be allowed to specify if they want works to be gifted to them or would prefer to remain anonymous, and if they want to be identified as a raffle winner on social media.
